what is the cargurus certification
when you guys classify a vehicle as certified, what does that mean ???
this means the VIN number makes sense, not welded from previous wrecks and has legitimate mileage to look at, every mile is recorded!
Cargurus is an advertising site only. Similar to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. A vehicle is certified by the selling dealer that its passed their inspection and it meets certain standards for resale on their lot as outlined by the vehicle manufacturer. Typically that means it has a clean vehicle history report to begin with. No accidents, recovered theft, total loss, or other damage. Mileage is not excessive for the age of the vehicle, no auction history, and certain mechanical items have been checked by the dealer's service department and found to be in good condition.
