There is a lock cylinder in the driver's door. Use the ignition key to unlock the door like before there were remote door locks. Good Luck!

Have the same issue. Our08edge sat too long while using a Ford courtesy rental waiting for the recalled airbag. The key doesn't want to turn the lock now.

I have 2007 edge, Door key stock no power, hood lock. I use a long screw driver, to push the lock latch by the hood to open the hood, it's really tight and hard to see, but flash light will help to see the latch, push to the left then should pop up the hood.
