How does the serpetine belt on a 1989 Dodge Ram 3500 with conditioning

Lost the belt, changed the altenator and not try to put the serpetine belt back on.  But
how does it route???

Belt routing should be posted in the engine compartment along the front grill/radiator area. If not there go to autozone.com. Go to the repair help section and input your vehicle info. You should be able to find it there. I just looked at yours on there but was un Sure of your engine size.
