Remove the fuel line from the carburetor and crank the engine. Gas should spurt out in rhythmic bursts as the engine cranks over. If so, the float in the carburetor is stuck. Try tapping on the top of the carburetor with the handle end of a large screwdriver. That will usually free it up and get you going again. If you have no gas coming from the disconnected fuel line make sure you have gas in the gas tank. If you do, remove the gas line at the fuel pump coming from the gas tank and blow it out with compressed air. You might have a blockage in the fuel line. If that doesn't work you'll need to visually inspect the fuel line for damage. If all that is ok you'll need to drop the gas tank and remove the sending unit. The pickup sock may be plugged up from dirt and debris in the gas tank. Clean the gas tank with dishwashing detergent and water. Let it dry completely before putting it back together. Hope that helps! Jim
