Merc ESP Malfunction

Hi Guys

My warning display indicates that the ESP Program is unavailable - Drive to workshop.  How do I get this fixed?

Drive to workshop, pretty plain, unless you have an SDS to properly diagnose the problem. A "generic scanner" that most shops use,won't access the system, those of us that are dedicated to MB repair and serious use nothing else. Fault codes must be pulled at that time they will be able to tell you the problem, or if further testing is needed. Expect to pay for diagnostic time. It ain't 1968 anymore and quite often more time is used to diagnose than to repair.
