Why would you? If there's trash or debris in your transmission you couldn't drive it! If you just want to change the fluid, you're best off to let a place equipped with a fluid exchanger do it for around $75 to $100. If the vehicle won't move or will move for only a short distance then revv free - a filter isn't going to fix it anyway.
