Fuel pump emergency shut off

Hello, I have a Dodge Ram 1500 8 Cly 5.7 L Longhorn.  I ran over something
and both left tires went flat and it wouldn't start, it would try but wouldn't turn
over.  I was impounded for three days and when I got it back and put tires back
on it still won't start.  I was told it may be the Fuel pump, but does my car have
a fuel pump emergency shut off switch?  Let me know.  Please and thank you

No that is a Ford thing. Use some starter fluid spray and see if it fires with that, if it does then for sure you have fuel delivery problems, most like the pump assembly but check for blown fuses, wiring and fuel relay trouble first. If all that checks good then you might get it to start by pounding on the fuel tank while someone cranks the key to start, if it does fire and run do not shut it off until you get it someplace to work on it as it might not start again.

Dodge/Chrysler vehicles have something called an "automatic shutdown relay" (ASD relay) and unlike Ford, it is not always collision related. Be careful spraying too much starting fluid in your truck, you can break some sh*t inside that crankcase in a hurry, trust me! Ed
