Why does my fuel pump on my chevy Silverado not work

i have a chevy Silverado 1990 and the fuel doesn't
work I changed the fuel pump and the fuel pump
relay but you still can't hear the fuel pump and it
doesn't pass gas to the motor

it also needs a good ground , a multi tester would help to see if there's power or where it's doesn't
