AIR CONDITIONER WILL NOT COOL WHEN IDLING

Sounds like your radiator cooling fans aren't coming on. HTH. -Jim

Thanks for your answer; however, the fan is coming and staying on longer. What else could it possibly be?

You're welcome. You could also be low on refrigerant or the compressor may be getting tired. HTH. -Jim

When the air conditioner gauge is hooked up, the low side goes to 90 on idle. The high side goes to 120. When the motor at high idle, the gauge shows normal. The low side gets hot.

Perhaps there's a blockage in the refrigeration system. There's an orifice tube in there with a tiny screen. It doesn't take much to clog them up. The refrigeration system needs to be pulled down, at this point, and checked by a pro. Sorry I can't be of more help. -Jim
