we just had tires changed on our grand am and now when I apply the brake I hear a grinding noise and it feels like the brakes want to lock up, the brakes are new

They over torqued your lug nuts or when they put the tire back on the car the brake rotor wasn't all the way back in place so it has it in a bind with your brake pads
