location of temperature sending unit/fan switch 2010 mercury grand marquis ls

My  2010 mercury grand marquis heats up when there is a traffic jam provided
the AC is on and does not if I am driving on the highway or the AC is not
running.

My 2009 Grand Marquis does the same thing. I replace the coolant fan module, temperature coolant sensor, and then got desperate and replaced the emc. The input to the fan module has +/- 12V but the control wire doesn’t have a signal input to it from the ecu.
