I have a Ford 500 with around 175,000 miles. The car runs like new but when I get to around 45 mph the car starts to get loud. It doesn't feel like vibration just noise but otherwise there seems to be no lack of power.

Is it an AWD? Does it have a constant velocity transmission?

A CVT transmission doesn't shift. There are no shift points. Its like riding a snowmobile so to speak. Anyway they do have problems with that kind of milage. The AWD could need some attention. Bearings, u-joints, hub and axle carriers. Had an AWD Montana that had issues like that. The limited is just the trim package, options equipment ect. Have the car looked at by a REPUTABLE mechanic.

The dodgy mechanics around here are what brought me asking questions. I wanted to have some kind of an idea before bringing it in to prevent them just trying to sell me garbage. I appreciate the info.

I have the same car and had it checked several times. I replaced the tires with new ones and still hear like a rubbing noise?
