what does it  mean when you try to get rates and it comes back saying couldnt
get rates for this car contact dealer for more info. also does westlake finaxcial

I can't say but I think these approvals are simply a come on to get you to ask for Westlake when you buy a car. A real preapproval would tell you how much you can spend.

Plus cargurus offers the financing if you are buying privately. A dealer will typically use their own banks to provide financing to you.
