its fine there all the same engine just vans are harder to work on just because you have to work out of a doghouse hah i know storyies where the put van engines in cars and truck engines in campers haha it aint no biggy if youve got the right engine mounts

They should work.. provided that you are trying to swap a 302 with a 302 or a 351w with a 351w. However a newer triton motor(4.6l and 5.4l) will not bolt up to the old tranny.... just make sure they are the same motor and it should be ok... worst case scenario you might have to change the computer and maybe some serpentine parts,.. And just wondering how you got the motor out of the van? did you cut it up?? lol I eork on ford vans everyday both gas and diesel... and more questions just ask.
