I have a VIN from a plate in the glove box:F25C9R49290, CIRCA 1960. NO LUCK WITH THE NUMBERS!

Question type: General

I AM HAVING TROUBLE MATCHING THE VIN TO A VEHICLE.

41,605

It's possible the plate was pulled from a junkyard vehicle which has long since gone to the crusher. That VIN actually sounds incorrect for a 1960s car as most Vin numbers were 8 digits prior to 1969-1970.
