thanks papa never thought of that i know that it was sittin for some time bc i just got my license and a job and was able to work on it hell i know it could have bad or old gas in it... but i will have it running and i cant wait!!!!!!
have you tied testing the icm (ignition control module) its on the back of the distributer. had to replace it on mine and its sounds like its a similar issue. the test em for free at autozone and the run about 50 bucks
mine had some bad gas in it for a while and had the same problem, after replacing most of my fuel system it occurred to me that I hadn't changed the plugs, if you haven't done so in a while it couldn't hurt.
My 1989 Ford Bronco 2 automatic it sits for awhile and starts but won't stay running seems like something's coming off and it will start back up what's my problem
