How far can you drive without the key fob
Never heard of that, the chip is in the key. FOB is for convenience.
Till it runs out of fuel.
Rowe, might be a newer Mustang that requires the fob to be in a certain proximity of the car to start it. Bob is right, till it is turned off or the car runs out of fuel or breaks down.
Ya, no years mentioned, thanks Tom
FOBs are good for starting, but once it shuts off and you don't have the FOB, it won't start. On a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, if you don't have the FOB you can enter a code to bypass the FOB as long as you know the code. Not sure on your Mustang. Suggest reading the manual.
