what is the correct engine for VIN # 5F08D109937?
Heres a VIN decoder for your car it should be able to give all the original equipment info for your classic mustang. http://www.mustangdecoder.com/decoder.html
Your engine code is the fifth character but I don't have a "D" listing in my 1961 thru '68 labor guide. The only "D" I show is a V8 289 with transistorized ignition for a 1964 Mercury Comet. BTW the first character is your model year. Since the Mustang was a mid-year introduction your VIN identifies the car as a 1965 model. HTH. -Jim
Engine code D early 65, 289 CI, 4v V8 210 hp.
