Question type: Car Customization

Can you swap transmissions from a 1995 v6 manual mustang and a 1999 v6
automatic mustang?  Also would the ECUs be swappable?

Check out some Mustang forums like stangnet and corral.net and ask the question there. You would need the transmission, shifter, clutch, ECM, pedal assembly, maybe a wiring harness, and pay for all the labor to swap it over and get the car running. Are you doing the work yourself or having some help from a mechanic?

I have all those parts from the manual car, and I was planning on swaping transmissions making the 99 a manual and the 95 an automatic. But yes I would do the work myself.

You might be able to make the manual transmission work in the newer car but you cannot put a OBD2 trans in a OBD1 car.
