2000 camry 4 cylinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

while I was driving last night my car cut off and when  I try
to start it, it sounds like it wants to crank but it just want the
lights and radio still come on and there's no dimming in the
headlights or interior lights. I thought it was the gas but
after road side assistance delivered me some fuel it still did
not crank. what could it possibly be? can anyone please
help me?

Did you check the timing belt to see if it broke?

It’s the alternator. Mine done the exact same thing. Got a new one put on haven’t had anymore problems.
