where is the fuel pump located ina 1988 camry

pull up the back seat.......there should be an oval plate to the gas tank.....and there lies your fuel pump

But you need to find out if it is a fuel or spark issue, a little starting fluid sprayed in the air intake while cranking it over will tell you that. If it runs briefly then it is fuel if not then it is spark
