2days ago it started chugging like water would be
in tank. The tank was on ( E) I put high test gas in
and gas treatment no change. I drove around the
parking lot chugging and backfiring. Then truck
starts looseing gas power . I left it sit there in
parking lot . next day I tried to start it . truck starts
2sec. Then nothing . I changed fuel pump . no
change . I changed fuel filter no change. Each time
I did something I tried to start truck again 2sec .
run then nothing. I'm thinking injectors

Got it Engine stalls. One of the first symptoms of an issue with the fuel pump relay is an engine that suddenly stalls. ... Engine does not start. Another symptom of a faulty fuel pump relay is an engine that does not start. ... No noise from the fuel pump. I wondered why I stopped hearing my fuel pump buzzing. Lol

Thank for getting back. Sorry to hear about your surgery. Your right the relay is round and it does get very hot. The fuel relay does not get hot. . I wouldn't know we're to even look for a short in a wire to the injector. . but the fuel pump is only month or 2 old.

You were right my # 1 spark plug wire. The shortest one . it was bad . everytime I'd hit a bump in the road it must have moved it a little causeing the truck to hit and miss.

Ok question my 86 - 4runner vibrates when I give it gas to go at a speed about 40 and keeps vibrating if I put clutch in and go to 4th or third. It will stop but sometimes if ongoing about 45 I'll hit the gas pedal for a sec. And the vibr8 stops till I give it gas again . any ideas.

Would it do that even coasting then if put in in gear it will stop but as soon as I push the gas pedal it goes right to vibrate . . . it would vibrate even 25 mph coming to a stop I shift to 3rd. And it stops but if. I tape the gas pedal it starts again
