What is better a CVT or manual Wrx

Hi my name is Paul and I live in Ontario Canada and im not that well with
driving stick and thinking about getting a wrx, but would a cvt be good as i
heard their are lots of problems with them. And my parents would want to drive
the car so they want me to get the automatic one.

Consumers Reports has down graded Subaru out of their top ten for reliability. I think the WRX is one of the worst but then again the drivers probably have some blame for that.

If I were buying a WRX it would be with the manual. The CVT is bad enough but with the power and torque of the WRX it can't be good.
