odometer cable

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My odometer stopped working after car sat for a couple years. Is there a cable that
could have froze up? and if so, where is it?

not sure what year your car is but the data for the odometer is stored in the instrument cluster and lamp module for e-46 3 series.no cables.speed sensors.but if you can give me a specific year it will be easier for me to answer the question
