Question type: General

I have done alot of looking but cant find info on the difference between the XL and the XLGT -- none of the decoders show the GT as a seperate car -- how can you tell if a car is a real GT or a clone -- thanks

Don't believe there ever was a Galaxie XL/GT. There was a Galaxie 500 XL, and in 69 could have came with several engines. The model designation on the data tag should tell, and the engine code should show the engine , and there was 429 2v, and 429 4v.
