Bought an 05 Ford escape it's Awd....the 4x4 light blinks on the dash, on ice the left front wheel turns but nothing in the back when I am on the snow...can anyone help

AWD systems generally have a percentage that is geared towards torque ratios per axel. Check some EDGE forums and see what's going on, also look at what your manual says about you AWD system. If you bought it certified pre-owned I'd suggest you go to your local Ford dealer and have them run tests. Do you by chance have a locking differential?

Make sure that the ABS Timing rings on the front axles are still in tact. Very common for these rings to break after rust forms under them. The 4x4 an ABS light will flash and 4 wheel drive will not work properly because it can no longer tell if a wheel is turning with a broken timing ring. More common for the front axle rings to break vs the rear axle rings
