chevrolet cavalier 97  have a problem    when i drive my car  the batt light  on  and the car stop after 15mns   smell something burn i change the alternator   same thing

Check the idler pulley. It might be seized up causing the belt to act funny. Also check the belt and belt tension, typically when a idler pulley seizes it will damage the belt. Hope this helps.

when the car run they test the black plug at alternator no power and when the gonna stop air batt light and air bag fter all light
