What is wrong with my car

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to the store and came back out, the car
started but started up funny. I went to leave the
parking lot, there was a weird noise then the noise
stopped. I went to pull out of the parking lot and
the car wouldn't let me accelerate then died.
I had my car towed to a shop, they replace a
vaccum hose. I pulled out of the shop went less
than 2 miles away and the car wouldn't let me
accelerate and shut down again.
