Hi Ive just bought a ford focus 58 and don't no if it
should do but the hazards lights come on every
time I switch the engen on and I've never nown a
car to do this enyone no what it could be plz

Hi. I've figured this out. Its if you're starting the car with your foot on the brake then the hazards come on. Ford has a feature in these cars that if you apply 60% of braking force then the hazards come on to warn those behind you, the down side is that when you start the car you apply the brake but not being moving you generally push rather hard, exceeding this 60% brake force and thus the hazards come on. I had the same issue and then read the focus launch review and saw this feature and decided to do some test and find that if I start the car without my foot on the brake then 100& of the time the lights don't come on, I also continued to test by lightly pushing the brake and slightly harder and harder until I found that if I pushed hard the lights came on every time. Test without applying brake and see what happens. Good luck
