Will an 88 buick lesabre series 1 for in my 93 buck
lesabre?

not a good idea.. the earlier six did not have a balanced valve cam shaft. series II or newer would be good choices.

1988 was the first year for the balance shaft but '88, '89, and '90 were "C" engines and the '91 and later was an "L" engine. There are plenty of the correct engines out there if you need one and they are cheap. Shop around, find a low mileage engine and then you have a plug-n-play swap.
