My 1973 Buick fires then dies. Help!

I have replaced the ignition and gone through the carb twice.  I checked the coil and it tested good.  The points are brand new and gaped.  I don't know what it is.

could be a lot of things and you don't give much info- in general, that is an old car and you might want to look at replacing the distributor- and everything else- in this way, you can get rid of the points and get an electronic distributor-
