rocker arms

Asked by Sep 11, 2007 at 10:56 PM about the 1968 Porsche 912

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The same rocker arm keeps breaking on my 912 every 3 to 6 months causing it to run very poor. Im thinking something inside the engine may need work?

1 Answer

Have you inspected the lifters and camshaft to see if they are within spec? If one of the lifters is bent it may be causing the rocker arm to crack.
