I am looking for a 1987 z24 carburetor for a nissan d21 truck.  Will a 1986 carb
work?

If it's from a motor of the same size and bolts up it should be O.K. there may even be an adapter plate if it does not . Carbs will have a CFM rating ( cubic feet @ minute ) It will probably have a bunch of vacuum lines so good luck with that
