what is ESC light on 2007 when stuck in snow

Asked by doc19120 Jan 08, 2015 at 11:51 AM about the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question type: General

ESC light comes on when stuck in snow and wheels spinning.  What is the Drive + and -
on gear shift?

ESC is Electronic Stability Control. The system is being used to attempt to put the right amount of power to the right wheel(s) to have the best traction. As for Drive+ /- idk. Usually I download owners manuals when trying to help but Hyundai is stingy with their manuals and want $8 for the download
