my 87 cherokee some times won't start. i bought all new ele parts and new fuel pump and filter. Please help
Hey, I just went thru the same thing with a '91 Cherokee. I did the fuel pump, ignition, etc and it didn't cure it. Got some advice in here regarding the problem and replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor.... about sixty bucks for the part. It is located at the 11:00 position on the bellhousing and held in place with two #11 bolts. I would advise having a friend over to help you replace it as it is hard to get at. And don't have anyone around who is offended by harsh language 'cause you are gonna use some before you finish... Not complicated, just a bitch to get at if you have big hands.
