AM station issues

Asked by Ferrari Jun 17, 2008 at 02:05 PM about the 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Question type: General

I have a 2003 SL 500 and it loses AM signal when going into a tunnel in WA state that all the other cars I have owned have had no problem with.  The tunnel is quite long and was designed to still allow a signal. I did not see anything in the manual that describes a City mode which I have seen in some other cars.  Does the SL have signal issues that anyone knows of?
