Can I put 14 in rims on my car that is originally 15 inch?

My friend is letting me buy their tires that is 14 inches and my Scion originally has 15
inches. Will it be okay for my car to switch to the smaller size?

i have 14z on my scion xa ,, now i want to go back to 15z but i cant find rims to fit ,,, it sucks bad

i bought 15" stainless steel/aluminum racing half moon racing plain wheel covers for my silver xa it looks pretty cool. cheaper than new rims...only $100
