i have a 98 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9l engine its running rich and killing my gas mileage. what would cause it to run rich?

If you had a carb you could adjust your fuel intake with a screwdriver, I would say you need to get a mechanic to play with your computer, I'm not really good with EFI or computers, sorry.
