vin information

Asked by Jun 16, 2007 at 06:35 PM about the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

Question type: General

I have found a 1968 Camaro, which I am told is an SS.  The VIN # is 124378L329661.  When checking the VIN the website tells me there should be 17 characters in the VIN, but in checking, I find that VIN's only had 13 characters in 1968.

What I want to know is this truly an SS?  How do I ensue that it is?

Try this site. Its better to search for "classic car vin decoder" because it will allow you to use your 13 digit VIN instead of the newer 17 digits.
