What makes my firebirds security system go off sometimes when it thunders or once in awhile when a certain car goes by

Is it something I can do myself ? If so how thank you


I had a 2002 Honda Odyssey with a similar problem. Turned out the hood latch needed to be cleaned of dirt and rust and lubricated.
