Heatless Bonneville in Cold Chicago Winter

My 1996 Pontiac Bonneville will not get any heat,neither cold or hot air will blow through the vent.This recently happened after strange turning noises started after i tried turning it on? Any ideas of what this may be?

I had the same problem and it sounds like it may be the blower motor. It is located on the firewall in the engine compartment.
