Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought this car with 212000 miles on it for 175. Now the motor
Purrs but when u start it the trans even the in park feels like wants to go. When
you put it in reverse it will not go anywhere. In neutral it feels like it wants to go.
when you put it in drive, you know how it flex to drive a car with a clutch and you
don't let out on the clutch enough for it to go??? I have to rev the hell out of its d
hope im going down a slope. After I finally getit going enough that it hits 3 then
we can haul ass. I just put bars leak super transmission fix in it and it is worse
than before. And I know I got it so cheap I should replace the tranny but top end
it does so good.

check the shift cable/linkage , that's a lot of miles so think before you put a bunch of $$ into it

You could get an estimate but there are likely other parts that will need to be replaced when they do the transmission. CV joints, front end parts, etc. You may have purchased a money pit with that many miles on it.

First, you might want to check the fluid level in the trans. If not full it would do funny things like this because all gear selections feed fluid through the many channels in the trans. The position that the shift cable is put in when selecting what gear you want determines the fluid action in the unit.
