I have a 1997 Nissan 4x4 2.4L 5 speed king-cab truck

What could be causing the following problem?  When you first crank it has a rough idle until it warms up & then it seems ok.  While driving it surges.

throttle body is dirty, pick up a can of throttle body cleaner/spray and spray inside of throttle body paying attention to all the little slits and holes to make sure the maf screen gets it, almost positive this will fix the problem.
