Hydraulic cooling fan pump

Question type: General

2002 lincoln ls v8
Can the seals in the bottom be replaced, or do I
have to replace the entire unit? The unit is so
expensive!

You could hunt for a rebuild kit but I could not find one for sale. I did find a pump for $192 direct from Havre Ford.

I am pretty sure you have to buy the complete pump as a rebuild kit is not available from Ford. A salvage yard pump may be an answer, but if you get one of those try to get some sort of warranty in writing on the used pump. If you drive a luxury car you must be prepared to pay some high prices for repairs.
