Asked by Mar 09, 2018 at 01:22 PM about the 2014 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys so is it true if the battery is not the right
size it affects the transmission on the car?

1 Answer

You should always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use the recommended battery. Using the wrong size battery may carry some potential problems. Today's cars and trucks are full of electronics that command almost all operating functions via computer module. The transmission is no exception. Always stay with the recommended battery for your not try to improve on what the engineers at the factory have already done!
