FAN RUNS FAST, just bought and swaped engine's put atomatic transmission fluid in the power steering pump not knowing the power steering also ran the fan would this cause it to do that thanks

just bought 2002 grand cherokee and swapped engine's both were 4.7's and replace power steering fluid with trany fluid could this cause the fan to run extremely fast and did i screw it up or will it be ok if i change the fluid to power steering fluid, thanks ,,,call me the idiot from illinois, thanks again  tom
