The fan should come on with the AC. If it is NOT coming on at any other time like it should, you may have a bad coolant temperature sensor. (Obviously the fan itself works). Google how to test those sensors with a multimeter so you can determine if yours are working.

Using Actron CP9185 Elite Scanner for testing, 86.4K miles. When it overheated I replaced the Rad cap, Thermostat, Fan relay and water pump which spun too easy so out the door it went. CTS reads 12K ohms cold and air temp 73 deg, fan motor is .4 ohms with a 31.25A load. When started cold the fan comes on for about 30sec which I think is a default at 9.5V that seems low to me. After that fan won't come on (went to 216deg), turn on AC and fan comes on with 9.5V and temp drops to 200deg. Can you help a brother out? Mike
