OK .....is this safe to drive in a snowstorm to the Laurentians in Quebec in February from
Burlington, Vermont ????
If your doing winter driving definitly get the AWD model and maybe an extra set of wheels with snow tires. http://www.miniusa.com/#/learn/FACTS_FEATURES_SPECS/Top_Features-m
No matter what auto you drive AWD makes it a safer vehicle to drive in all weather conditions. AWD is great in snow, on ice, in mud, in heavy rain, in lite rain or on those sand "blankets" left in the road after spring warm up before the state crews have cleaned up from spreading it all winter.
they go great in snow unless it deeper than the ground clearance which is fairly low.....i drove mine in blizzard and the front spoiler acted like a snow plow
