Over heating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2014 jeep cherokee runs hot if I go at a high speed of
like 50 or above but as long as I stay away from freeways
or high speed limits it drives fine...

Check to see if you are low on coolant in the overflow canister AND in the radiator. Do this carefully while engine is cool or cold. Then consider replacing the thermostat, it may not be opening up enough to allow maximum coolant flow at high speeds. And lastly, the coolant temperature sensor might be sending you a false "Hot" signal.
