Road Gators. They can do damage alright. But very hard to answer, any chance you can take a picture? That would really help us out.

Been looking for pictures...this is a Sportage though. Not many images of undercarrige. What material is it? Plastic, fiberglass..steel? Look anything like this?

So what is this plastic box for and were you able to repair it? Just hit a dresser part thrown by semi on the interstate and broke and dragging on the pavement. Wires intact, no fluids and no obvious electrical problems. Any help appreciated.

I had the same thing happen to me and I need to know what the part is to be able to fix it. I am definitely not thrilled with my zip tie job thats getting me through. Anyone know what the part itself is actually called?

I had the same thing happen to me when I hit a dead deer some ass left in the middle of a busy highway at night. Did anyone figure out what this part is? And if it's expensive to fix?

I have also been looking for the name for this part. It is called a Protector canister. You can search it on the Kia Website looking for part number: 314251U008 or 31425A. It costs $180 today from Kia. Here's the link https://www.kiapartsoverstock.com/p/Kia__/PROTECTOR---CANISTER/7219910/314251U000.html

Just had this happen when my wife hit a tree limb that fell in front of her. Going with zip ties to get it back in place for now.

Vapor canister. Might just be the plastic 'protector'. Or if you're lucky like me, the whole assembly!!! Goddamned jerry's ski fell of his rack after he forgot to close it...
